Will I survive? NO. I will THRIVE!

Last blog post I mentioned something along the lines of not merely surviving, but thriving in life. It's been stuck in my mind ever since. It's been coming up everywhere I look. 2 friends of mine, unrelated in any way to one another, actually quoted the exact same words at different moments throughout the day. So I payed attention.
What does it mean to survive? Survive entails some sort of unconscious repetitive action, or rather more like a knee jerk reaction to life's circumstances. It somewhat says we are constantly on guard, on the defensive, because we are ready to re-act to whatever comes. Whatever comes? What's going to come at, us? At me? Am I that important in the scheme of the Universe that something will plot its way to hurt me or us in some way? Please. I think not. Because in the scheme of the incomprehensible enormity of the Universe, we are but a mere insignificant spec. So, why are we enamored with the insane idea that we must defend ourselves against anything? When did we learn to be so egocentric and narcissistic as to believe the world revolved entirely around us?
I don't know about you, but I thought this was the 21st century...where the planet's spherical form is as factual as science can ever prove it to be. Then the medieval notion that man was the center of the universe should have died the second Pythagoras placed the argument that disproved it. And yet.... we still base our entire existence on this. Our "modern" way of life continues to sustain its societal structure based on the fact that we must defend ourselves from someone or something "out there"... alien to us... from the unknown. Maybe someone from over the rainbow? (notice my sarcasm) An unforeseen force of evil who's sole purpose is to attack our Planet, our countries, our communities, our cultures... for no explainable reason whatsoever, other than whatever reason the "powers that be" feels plays our fear best, in a way to keep us suppressed in pure animal, reactive emotion. Whatever causes us terror the most will work just fine. The fact that many men questioned what was established as "fact" in antiquity, that we are not the center of a titanic universe made great strides, for science and towards man's ability to think; but it seems it did nothing for our comprehension of our place in the Universe. And thus, we continue living an existential crisis today. Our beliefs and thought patterns are still stuck in antiquity...
People, we are not so important! The fear-based culture creates a foundation that promotes a lie!! An illusion that's disguised in may different forms, albeit an illusion nonetheless.
What is the point of any type of defense? NOTHING. The point is futile because there is NO POINT.
There is nothing "out there" to defend because we have no evolutionary imperative to survive anymore!
We rise in fear, we survive from what!??! From what? Problems? Even insurmountable problems such as hunger, poverty , nutrition, health, education have found a way out of the darkness and into the light. In the present, we are blessed to live in the richest and most abundant of times... times where all these "survivalist" problems have concrete solutions. And yet we are still living as the Neanderthal... as if we never evolved into homo sapiens. So what''s next? What's the next phase in the evolution of homo sapiens? They, or rather we, are a species that survived based on the primal imperative for its genes to compete for survival through procreation... the thrived under the survival from competition to exist. That's not a problem anymore.. so what is our species still surviving from?
It's time for a new foundation to be created ... a new philosophical answer to our existence and our entire way of life. We are evolving... We are transcending into a species no longer denominated as homo sapiens... so what are we? Something new.
Do not let fear shake your core, your your core is unshakable. Do not conform to the situations that pressure you to negotiate your sanity... your sate of being. Like a very wise friend of mine always says: "My Peace is NON-NEGOTIABLE."
Fear implies living a chaotic inner state, one that stems from the fear for survival... fear of our own limitations against the competition that is surviving.... and die trying in the battle for survival.. fear that we may not be the last one standing.
May the new species RISE up and become the one that thrives, rather than survives. A species with a higher level of consciousness.. one that accepts and acknowledges the potential of every single living being... because to do so, means one recognizes and accepts one's own potential. Because the new evolved species knows we are all connected to each other, interdependent as part of the One.
This is one of the many thoughts I have on this. But I will continue with this topic in future blog posts. So be on the look out for new posts that hopefully ignite your mind and your divine heart into an awakening.
I leave you for now with 2 things: a song from Katy Perry: "Rise"; and these questions to ask yourself:
Who are you?
What's your purpose?
What are you really afraid of?
What's keeping you from doing the things you want to do?
Think about it... and share your thoughts with me. I welcome them with an open heart.
Victory need not be attained... for victory is already yours.
Until next time!
Love you all dearly.
